Pirate Bay has an immense database of 700,000+ torrents, currently the largest database.Update: Pirate Bay announced in November 2009 the voluntary shutting down of its torrent tracker along with the embracing of a new technology that uses a decentralized server – DHT. The site is still running but it uses magnet links instead of torrent files.
Kickasstorrents	Absolutely recommended torrent site with plenty of unique features requiring no registration to browse or download files and free from ads which you don’t often see on torrent sites. (read extended review).
BTjunkie	A veteran in the BitTorrent world built around a large p2p community, still delivering vast content.
AliveTorrents	One of the fast rising file sharing sites from the new wave. Simple, clean and worth checking. (no registration required)
YourBittorent	A good source for general torrents, gaining quickly popularity on the BitTorrent scene.
Bitsoup	This is a site that gains in popularity in p2p communities. This goes with the trend of private torrent so you will be required to signup and join as a member to take part in the Bitsoup swarm.
Bollywood Torrents	As its names suggests, the site is mainly dedicated to bring Bollywood content to fans of the genre.
DC Torrent	DCTorrent.com (Desi Club) offers plenty of categories some of which not so common on other torrent tracker like Pakistani / Afghani music, Music – Punjabi / Bhangra, Stageshows – Urdu or Music – Religious Mantras (requires registration).
Isohunt.com	P2PON covered the surprising and bold move from the Isohunt webmaster who is counter-suing the Canadian music industry. The man is claiming that previous copyright infringement suits filed against him had no legal found, and thus that he should be paid damages as to recover his legal expenses so far. Update (13th December 2009) : Currently, Gary Fung, isoHunt’s owner is still trying to obtain legalization of the site.
Demonoid.com	To the enthusiasm of many the site is back online! Coming after legal issues in April this year, the guys reest ablished themselves outside the USA, and have put the torrent site back on tracks. Demonoid is still a private community, and members are held liable for any leeching that their invited friends do in this community. If you are lucky enough to get a Demonoid membership, invite your friends carefully, lest you lose your own membership.
YouTorrent.com	This is a new torrent site that brags about currently being the largest legal torrent search engine. Consequently, the result sets are much smaller than the “pirate” counterparts, but you should give it a try.
BiteNova	The old “Bi-Torrents” has resurrected as BiteNova ,a free Torrent site having a very clean look and fast searching format.
Torrentportal.com	Searchable torrents dump; the site indexes thousands of trackers from around the net.
Files24	Definitely, one of the greatest newcomers in 2009 – the service combines IMDb fetaures with BitTorrent; it offers a great deal of films, each with useful movie data included such as a genre, plot summary, director, list of cast members etc plus the IMDb rating and a direct link to IMDb. TorrentHound	Launched in 2007, the service lets you upload and download torrent files. It also crawls the web and uses custom filters to come across new torrent files as soon as they become available and improve their index or flag them after passing through their health check system. The website is a fairly basic feature torrent search engine that provides links to both free and premium torrent files.
Fenopy	A good-looking torrent site that offers a nice, ad-free file-sharing experience. Fenopy also offers free API access, a finder for fake files, a tool bar and multiple browser plug-ins. It searches for results through free and paid torrent file links.
Torrents.to	Torrents.to searchers the most popular torrent trackers around for all kinds of content – from music torrents to film, software and games.
ExtraTorrent	A new ambitious file sharing site serving up a large number of torrents including iPod torrents.

TuxDistro	This is a torrent site dedicated to Linux users where you can find 1,311 torrents related to this platform.

Mininova.org	A very popular torrent site having 190,000 torrents indexed starting April, 2007. The site is the successor to Suprnova, one of the origin al big torrent databases online.Update: Following a court ruling in August 2009, Mininova removed all the links to copyrighted files in November 2009.
Torrentspy.com	March 24, 2008: Torrentspy chose to shut down. Rather than complying with the American court mandates which required to adopt new privacy policies, the guys from Torrentspy preferred to stay real and close the doors.
FileMP3.org	A file sharing site with a design not very impressive and crowded with adult oriented ads.
H33t.com	This is a public filesharing site that indexes BitTorrent files but with a difference: all the h33t approved torrents are given detailed description.

Torrentreactor.to	The site has managed to recover from a hijacking and an uncooperative hosting service. Since, they have switched to another server setup and a Tonga country domain outside the USA. For more details visit their home page.
Torrentbox.com	Torrentbox has created a friendly community where you can easily share your files with other p2p users.
TorrentTyphoon.com	A great bittorrent meta-search engine that searches many of the most appreciated sites among the file sharers. However, when it comes to categorizing the torrent files it does a lousy job.
