Spotify – the popular music streaming service – is now allowing its users to listen to music via Android-based smartphones for free and without adds.
Just a while ago Spotify offered “free” streaming radio (you actually needed to pay $9.99 for a premium subscription in order to access this feature) for iPhone and iPad users. While Android smartphones are on the rise, the company decided to enable free radio streaming for Android users.
“Exciting news for Android users!” Spotify said.
“Starting today, you can now enjoy radio on your Android! It’s never been easier to play and save music on the go.”
“A stellar radio experience on your Android is now just a click away,” the company added.
The features this new “deal” includes are:
Create stations based on any artist, album or playlist.
Unlimited stations and songs – listen forever!
Like a song? Save it to your Spotify playlists.
Make your stations even better with a thumbs up (or down).
So, if you have an Android smartphone, you will be able to find and save music whenever and wherever.
However, the free radio streaming is available only to US citizens unless you have a premium account.
