iTunes Offers ‘Hope for Haiti Now’ Album as Free Download

Following the success of Hope for Haiti Now benefit concert, the performing musicians have decided to include all featured songs on an album, which can be downloaded online via iTunes.Com. To the delight of thousands of music fans everywhere, the fund raising concert offered memorable performances from popular artists, brought together by the humanitarian cause of supporting the people in Haiti, involved in the tragic events on January 12.

Including songs from prominent names such as Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige and Stevie Wonder, as well as the popular song adaptation of Bill Withers’ “Lean On Me”, performed by Sheryl Crow, Kid Rock and Keith Urban, Hope for Haiti Now album is expected to enjoy a lot of appreciation among fans and therefore, maintain the momentum of the recently initiated fund raising campaign.

According to sources such as The Examiner, all album sale profits will be donated to the Red Cross, United Nations World Food Program, UNICEF, Partners in Health, Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, Yele Haiti Foundation and Oxfam America, to support their effort of helping the victims of the devastating earthquake in the Caribbean.

Previous fund raising events achieved good exposure, with Hope for Haiti Now telethon bringing in around $58 million for the people of Haiti. Organizers of the campaign are pleased with the feedback received so far and are optimistic that they will be able to further increase existing earnings through Hope for Haiti Now album sales.

Including a number of 20 tracks, the Hope for Haiti Now album can be downloaded online for $7.99, while individual downloads of the featured tracks are available for only 99 cents each.
