Lil Wayne's Latest Album Leaked on P2P Networks
Soon after Amazon’s shipped it too early, the album spreads online
Looks like rapper Lil Wayne is not going to have a very happy Christmas. Not the same thing we can say about his fans though. After the official release of his album "Rebirth," a follow-up to his chart-topping "The Carter III", was delayed, the album found its way on p2p networks almost two months before the scheduled date.
First there were 500 copies of “Rebirth” accidentally shipped earlier than planned by Amazon. Before you know it, that number multiplied by thousands over the Internet as soon as one (or more) of the recipients uploaded the album on a file sharing site. Now, you can easily find it spread on torrents sites, via Twitter etc.
Damn these quick uploaders! It only took less than 24 hours after news of Amazon's mishap emerged for the album to be released online. While another delay placed the official release in February, Amazon shipped copies of the album on December 14th.
I wonder if some damage compensation will be demanded in this case from Amazon.
This is one of the results I got from Torrentz.com after I googled up Rebirth Lil Wayne download and accessed the first link:
