'Inglourious Basterds' Comes to Mobile Phones
Inglourious Basterds was a hit both in theaters and on p2p networks (it’s been several weeks since it lingers in The Top Most Downloaded Movies via BitTorrent). Now Universal wants to take the film’s success further – the company has announced that it has teamed up with Adgregate Markets to launch a mobile commerce campaign whose purpose is to offer consumers the possibility to buy the Blu-ray or DVD of the blockbuster Inglourious Basterds through their mobile phones.
“This innovative partnership with Adgregate Markets fits perfectly with Universal’s strategy of providing home entertainment consumers maximum flexibility and convenience when it comes to purchasing and viewing their favorite films,” pointed out Universal Studios Home Entertainment president Craig Kornblau.
With the Adgregate's "ShopAds, consumers are able to view ads of the movie, pre-order it, or search online for the best available price.
