New File Sharing Android app from T-Mobile
T-Mobile launched yesterday a new free file sharing application for Android users called ShareAnywhere. The app lets users share presentations and documents stored on the ShareAnywhere servers. Additionally, through the app’s website, users can edit and update documents on the ShareAnywhere servers anytime they want to.
While the new app was developed for business and the company hopes to attract new customers that would use the Android platform, ShareAnywhere may just as well be used between friends who want to share images and documents.
Since files are stored in a central repository anyone who has the login requirements can access them online.
In a recent statement co-founder of the firm, Warrant Bennett said "At the initial focus group with T-Mobile ourselves and other businesses talked about what sort of tools we would really benefit our companies and this application was the outcome."
