Gmail Now Lets You Attach Files Offline
When Google promised to make the file attachments via its email service available even offline there wasn’t just a promise from the media giant.
The company announced yesterday that Gmail users will be able to attach files to the composed email while offline as well. All they have to do is enable Offline Gmail that would allow them to attach any file to the email (except for images) and even when they lose their Internet connection attachments still get ‘glued’ to the original email body.
Of course this is a big deal. Just think at places where users ‘enjoy’ very slow net connection. The new feature will get rid of the problem of unexpected interruptions that prevent users from attaching files to the emails they will send after connection is re-established.
