UK Artist Gets Creative, Responds to Lily Allen with Open Letter Song

Perhaps many of you have had enough of news involving Lilly Allen over the last two weeks since she put fire on an already hot issue – that of the losses artists suffer as a result of illegal file sharing. We’ve kept you informed about the topic as it unwrapped up until two days ago when Ms Allen announced she was backing out of the debate (and also quitting the showbiz!).

There were many fellow artists to join her in her call-to-arms against piracy (which mainly is supporting Lord Mandelson’s proposals to disconnect file sharers) but just as many had something totally different to say. TorrentFreak revealed what I called a ‘spicy’ song by UK musician Dan Bull (http://www.myspace.com/danbull) who conceived it as an open letter to Lilly Allen.
