Friendfeed Now Allows File Sharing
Friendfeed has just got richer with the addition of another feature to its short social messaging service (and one not available on Twitter) that allows the sharing of MP3s (and PDFs and spreadsheets) directly within your feed.
As we learn from Dan Hsiao on the FriendFeed Blog, the new feature was comes to fill up an increasing need of companies using the service:"This has been an especially popular request from organizations and companies that collaborate using FriendFeed groups. We've certainly been using this feature internally and have found it extremely useful. We hope it’ll help make you and your collaborators even more productive, and a little more attached to FriendFeed."

For now users can only upload three MP3s per day to Friendfeed and it’s very possible that the number of uploaded tracks allowed would increase in the future, according to what Friendfeed co-founder Bret Taylor said in an interview to TechCrunch.
If you want to use the feature, simply click the "files" link underneath the post box and select the Mp3s you wish to add. You can also have files included as attachments on emails sent to share@friendfeed.com, which posts to your feed directly from your email service.
Moreover, the service lets you post to a group by emailing groupname@friendfeed.com or direct message somebody by emailing username@friendfeed.com.
With these new features FriendFeed will surely please its users and perhaps gain new ones.
