AnimeByt.es: 2 in 1 Tracker – Anime & Japanese Music
A new great site with a main focus on community, AnimeByt.es, is out now and ready to please – acting both as an Anime tracker and a Japanese music tracker nicely wrapped up together.
The great thing about the site using Gazelle is that the torrents can be properly organized and categorized (which is a big deal since Anime comes mostly in episodes) due to the advanced tagging technology and criteria features.
While there are no sign ups available at this time, those interested can request invites using their #invites IRC channel. Don’t forget, however, to do your homework first, which means – read and fill the application form below which you’ll need to PM to an IRC OP when asked for: http://animebyt.es/application.php
The site states its purpose as follows:
Our goal as a tracker is, in short, to become the single largest and most organized repository of anime, consolidating it and all of its variants (manga, novels, OSTs, video games, and live action works) all in one place and in multiple formats as well-seeded torrents. Secondly yet equally important, is to become a community where members actively share what the content they have, and discuss what they think. We hope that in time as our memberbase and content selection grows, AnimeByt.es will become your first and last stop for geting all things anime-related. If you are not yet aware, this tracker runs on the Gazelle codebase (pioneered by What.CD) and optimized to be fit as an anime tracker.
All new accounts are offered 10GB upload credit plus 5 invites.
