New Updates for LimeWire: X 5.1.2
The latest version offers among others an improved UI
The top we posted yesterday showed that LimeWire is still downloaded big time and preferred to other p2p clients. Today we report about a new update Gnutella Network has announced for one of the most used P2P file sharing clients for Mac OS X, LimeWire.
This latest version of the program, LimeWire X 5.1.2, comes with two enhancements and a trio of fixed bugs.
The release notes say that LimeWire X 5.1.2 fixes a bug with the single file sharing widget and removes the check box for the multi file sharing widget. The new version also deals with a rendering bug with the share widget. According to the same notes there shouldn’t be a problem any longer with the Mojito tab that normally shows you joined the Mojito DHT only if you have the Advanced Tools window open. To wrap up, the developers of LimeWire X say users will also have the advantage of several minor UI updates, like right aligning of the Length column header.
Currently there’s a free version of the application and also a Pro version which can be purchased for $21.95 and comes with personalized technical support and additional benefits.
Requirements (to use LimeWire X): Mac OS X 10.4 or later, 256 MB RAM, Java 1.5 or later, and, of course, an Internet connection.
