We are the RIAA and We Are Addicted to Lawsuits
Although the Recording Industry Association of America announced they gave up suing file sharers the facts announce the opposite
On December 19th, we reported about the RIAA’s decision to end the massive suing of individuals accused of illegal file sharing. Then, on December 26th, we informed in another post that the notorious trade group was still hanging on to some lawsuits – the credibility of the organization (feeble as it was already) dropped even more. But now the RIAA has really added a new dimension to its lack of integrity.
After stating that no more new lawsuits will be filled against people suspected of piracy the group goes ahead and does just that – suing people for file sharing. How could anyone even comment that? Oh, the damn amnesia…
