A new anti-piracy campaign was recently launched with fanfares – this time many of today’s most important figures from the film, music and games industries have joined forces to make the government hasten the crackdown on illegal file sharing over the Internet.

The main reason and concern the group presents is that due to online piracy many will lose their jobs and future productions will be jeopardized. Personalities who adhered to the group include the directors Sir Alan Parker, Mike Leigh, Kenneth Branagh and the latest James Bond star, Daniel Craig. They claim that the issue of stopping unauthorized material from being downloaded online must fall in the hands of ISPs who should be required to monitor this activities and make sure they don’t occur.

In response the government assured that some measures have already been taken and future solution will be put into practice.
