MySpaceTV Adds Direct Uploads Feature
From now on users will be able to directly upload video to MySpaceTV, the video-sharing section of News Corp.'s MySpace, proudly announces. Confused? Well, let’s explain- basically, you can now place yourself in front of your Webcam, go to MySpace, and hit a "record" button and there you have it – only your own imagination and creativity can limit your video.
However, some similar video-sharing sites like Google's YouTube, have included features that do just that by now. Still, the main gain of this addition of direct uploads on MySpace, is the capacity to quickly embed them in member profiles, "bulletins," and comments, demonstrating (like it was really necessary) the quick-developing video commenting trend.
From the announcement we further learn that MySpaceTV videos have been subjected also to another improvement – the maximum file size is now 512 megabytes (still that’s only half of what YouTube offers, but while YouTube limits them at 10 minutes in length, this thing doesn’t happen with MySpaceTV).
