DCIA to Inaugurate Global P2P & MUSIC CONFERENCE

The Distributed Computing Industry Association (www.DCIA.info), yesterday announced the agenda, sponsors, and first wave of speakers for its inaugural P2P & MUSIC CONFERENCE. The highly anticipated industry event is slated for Friday October 10th in the Grosser Stern Conference Center on the Exhibition Grounds of Messe Berlin - PopKomm, Germany.

DCIA CEO Marty Lafferty pointed out the ramification peer-to-peer phenomenon has developed very quickly and talked about how it affected the music industry – both negatively and positively:"P2P continues to represent both the most significant challenges as well as the greatest opportunities for the music industry - and we are grateful to PopKomm's organizers for recognizing that and asking us to mount this important event.
