Google Chrome Is Out – A Quick Look

Two days ago we reported the arriving of Google's new service. Now the much anticipated Google Chrome web browser is here, for those who want to try it out, and with our first impressions. The browser comes with numerous features with great potential.

Such a feature is the new "new tab" page. Usually when you open a new tab you are presented with either your home page or an empty page. By default Google Chrome presents you with thumbnail screen shots of your most visited pages and a box for searching through your page history. Google Chrome seems quite versatile at a glance – for a chance the browser is the one to behave according to your use of it. Compared to normal page history that can perform the search through page names and URLs, Chrome has the ability to look for results in the actual contents of the pages as well.

Google Chrome has definitely plenty of cool features to brag about. For example, each tab runs in its own process, so in the eventuality of a faulty page, at worst, only the tab it is running in stops working but not the browser altogether. Overall the browser appears to be a development destined to success as it complies with today’s web users requirements.
