George Orwell's Diaries Made Available Online

Starting from this Saturday those interested will be able to read online George Orwell's diaries as a blog. The first entry is to be posted 70 years to the day after the famous author wrote it, the Telegraph reports.

Orwell, well known for his keen and daring political view which he usually put into his works, kept a journal between 1938 and 1942 which mainly contains lots of everyday details for posterity.

As announced the blog will post one entry a day as Orwell wrote them. ”Responsible” for the publishing is the website of The Orwell Prize, offered for political writing.

For those who want a taste of what will find on the blog, we can tell them that the start of the Second World War, together with Orwell's journeys to Morocco after being injured as a soldier in the Spanish Civil War, are covered in the diaries.

Overall, the diaries are expected to offer further insight into one of the most sparkling minds of the 20th century, and will certainly have many readers devotingly visiting the blog in search for the notes of a genius.
