LimeWire Store Debuts Live at Lime Recording Series

Always re-inventing itself, always thinking to expand – that’s how Limewire managed to maintain its place on the market and its name appreciated in the p2p world. Now, we’ve got another novelty offered by LimeWire - Live at Lime, a recording series by important indie artists that will be only be available via LimeWire Store.

For those interested, you’ll be able to find names like The Morning Benders, Sloan, Tigers and Monkeys, and Lucy Wainwright Roche included in the list of EPs whose production started in June.

Tom Monday, Director of Partner Relations for the LimeWire Store reveals the whole concept behind this new project and we have to say it does sound pretty exciting:

“With Live at Lime, we wanted to bring some of our favorite artists into the studio and have them create fun, unique recordings for their fans and our customers. The idea is to give the artists a chance to play around, experiment with their arrangements, change up the instrumentation, and lay down some spontaneous tracks that are truly unique to that moment in time. (…) The interest from artists and labels has been pretty overwhelming. I think a lot of artists really love the chance to come in and, without a lot of pressure or direction, create something new for their fans. It's been really fun to watch the process and the results are unbelievable.”
