First-Ever P2P MEDIA SUMMIT Silicon Valley to Be Held Next Month

Was about time! Peer-to-peer finally gets its first MEDIA SUMMIT: The Distributed Computing Industry Association (www.DCIA.info), a trade organization including over one-hundred Member companies representing p2p and social networking software providers (P2Ps), content holders, Internet service providers (ISPs), and service-and-support companies, announced yesterday the schedule and the list of the first speakers for its approaching P2P MEDIA SUMMIT Silicon Valley.

The convention series is due on August 4th in Salons IV-VI of the San Jose Marriott, and is being held in tandem with Building Blocks, which is produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) in cooperation with Digital Hollywood.

DCIA CEO Marty Lafferty was the one to announce - “We are thrilled to be able to present a program devoted to the latest technological innovations and newest business models being introduced in the rapidly emerging P2P marketplace.”

There will be further announcements with regard to some other speakers.

The main topics highly expected to be addressed at the P2P MEDIA SUMMIT Silicon Valley are:
