Etelos Releases Business File Sharing Service

Etelos launched yesterday a new online service called Etelos Share through which you can store, backup and share files.

Etelos Share offers online file storage, file backup and file sharing between named users. Compared to other similar services, Etelos Share is not a publishing system; its focus is to ease up the handling of corporate digital assets and intellectual property, so you can see it as a business file sharing service. You can access it as an external drive, the service having password protection with unique usernames and being maintained in a secure hosting environment.

Etelos founder, Danny Kolke, talked about the main advantages of the service:

“Etelos Share is a seamless and productive way for businesses to share files, without the hardware, technical skills and time to install and maintain their own servers. (…) This is an important link in running your business online. As business applications migrate to the Web, it is inevitable for data to follow. We keep your businesses running and accessible no matter where you are.”

Etelos seems destined to success as it offers feasible and much needed solutions as the possibility for businesses to run their catalog of applications and Etelos Share user accounts. The best part is that one simple interface allows this management of applications, their billing and their data.

The service costs $4.95 per month for 5 GB of storage; for each additional GB you are charged 34 cents. Etelos is now available via the Etelos Marketplace at etelos.com.
