Torrent Relay Lets You Get BitTorrent files in Your Browser
BitTorrent, highly appreciated by the p2p communities has, inevitably, its own flaws. Although file-sharing programs came to know an amazing progress, sometime you just wish you could do without having to install any application on your PC when you want to download a file.
Download.com presents Torrent Relay which is designed just for this, having a browser-based BitTorrent downloader. Similar to Bitlet, Torrent Relay allows users to plug in a download URL from any tracker site or a link sent by buddies, which it will convert into a link that once clicked on starts downloading using their browser's download manager. A great feature of the software is its compatibility with nonsoftware-friendly platforms including game consoles (Wii and PS3) and iPhone.
In case a torrent file includes numerous files in it, the tool is designed to divide them. You are then able to click on those you wish to download. Torrent Relay is ideal for music albums in case you’re interested in getting just a few songs. The tool also enables you to stream music.
However, there’s one thing you must consider – you are limited to smaller files with this tool as any single file is capped at 400MB.
